The 7 Graces Global Conference (7GGC) is neither a trade show nor a training event. It is an emerging worldwide community of business owners, marketers, media professionals, journalists, eco-citizens and conscious consumers who will together create a paradigm shift away from big (and bigger) business, and towards a more holistic and sustainable model for commerce that is kinder to our health, our communities, our economy and our planet.
Because we want the dialogue to be truly GLOBAL,
you can attend either in person at the London event,
or from anywhere in the world via Interactive Live Stream.
This is not a one-off conference, but a long-term vision. Our goal of will be to provide education and support that can help rebuild local economies in vulnerable societies around the world who suffer as a result of modern consumer culture. Positive change can only come about via three elements, the foundation of which we aim to create through this event:
Taken from the book The 7 Graces of Marketing: how to heal humanity and the planet by changing the way we sell by author Lynn Serafinn, The 7 Graces are a set of values and principles intended to provide a guideline or model for our business and marketing, and indeed our lives in general. In this paradigm, each ‘Grace’ is set against its corresponding ‘Deadly Sin’:

Sessions You Can “Attend” via Live Stream
We will be streaming 10 live sessions from the conference. You can register to attend your choice of any of these sessions, and there is a discount for registering for all 10. Sessions will include the live talk by the guest speaker PLUS a chance to participate in a “virtual breakout session” over the Internet with that speaker after their talk. Here are the sessions you can attend:
Rachel Elnaugh – Keynote Speaker
A Dragon’s Tale – a new view of the business world
Keynote Speaker Rachel Elnaugh will be sharing her dramatic story of how burnout opened the door to happiness for this once fire-breathing business Dragon. Hear about her entrepreneurial rollercoaster and the synchronicities that ultimately led to her work in the world of metaphysics. And finally, find out Rachel’s take on how the world of modern business is burning out too—and shifting towards a new paradigm where money is not the only measurement of success.
Rachel Elnaugh is the award-winning entrepreneur who created the experiences brand Red Letter Days and went on to find fame as a ‘Dragon’ in the first two series of BBC TV’s cult business show Dragons’ Den. The high profile meltdown of her business in 2005 inspired her book Business Nightmares which lead her on a metaphysical journey of personal development and discovery. Rachel is now working on creating the world’s biggest mass sound healing event — The Big Om — at Wembley on 12.12.12 with metaphysical teacher and author Barefoot Doctor.
Lynn Serafinn – event host
Collaboration vs. Competition
Business owners have long believed Competition makes our businesses stronger; but this fear-based “Deadly Sin” actually weakens our ability to be innovative and creative. In Lynn’s session on Collaboration, participants will experience the ease of creating vital partnerships when we think outside the box using our creative minds rather than our analytical brains.
Lynn will also lead the opening and closing sessions of the conference, engaging the audience in many interactive exercises to help them define and communicate their personal mission and values both during the conference and beyond.
Lynn is a certified, award-winning coach and teacher, marketer, radio host, speaker and author of the #1 bestseller The 7 Graces of Marketing: how to heal humanity and the planet by changing the way we sell, the inspiration behind the 7GGC conference. As a marketing consultant she has produced a long list of bestselling mind-body-spirit authors. Her eclectic approach to marketing incorporates her vast professional experience in the music industry and educational sector, along with more than 20 years’ study and practice of the spirituality of India. Passionate about re-establishing our connection with the Earth, she supports the work of the Transition Network.
Connection vs. Disconnection
The disastrous results of disconnected business are scattered through society, where disregard for human rights and values has led to financial, social and ecological catastrophes blighting the lives of billions. But how can we adopt a different way of doing business. In Christine’s session, we will explore the societal, environmental and economic benefits of reclaiming our innate need for relationships and connection through our business practices.
Christine Miller is the Founder & Editor of ReSource Magazine, a leading global intelligence provider in business and personal growth. An author, business consultant, executive coach, mentor, speaker and poet with 25 years’ business experience, highly skilled in organisational transformation and leadership development, Christine enjoys a privileged role sharing ideas with world leaders in the fields of current affairs, business, spirituality, society and personal education. Her unique access to innovative thought and growing edge information translates into accessible, penetrating insights for readers and consulting clients worldwide. She is currently preparing for publication a collection of extensive research on creating more loving, compassionate, caring and connected organisations.
Inspiration vs. Persuasion
There are a million courses teaching how to Jedi mind-trick people into purchasing. But is persuasion the only path to profitability? In this session, Lissa will take you on a guided tour of some highly successful, real-life businesses who dare to inspire, empower, give and restore the soul of business, without the trickery of fear-based persuasion.
Hailing from Ontario, Canada, Lissa Boles is an internationally renowned coach & consulting astrologer, Web TV personality, and consumer marketing specialist. She is the former talk-radio host of Toronto’s Small Business Big Ideas show, and was named one of 2011′s ‘Fastest Growing Inspirational Businesses’. She is also the CEO of SoulFullFilled Living, a group of companies dedicated to helping international change agents, thought leaders and purposeful entrepreneurs answer their life’s deepest callings through business while restoring the soul of business itself.
Invitation vs. Invasion
Many of us feel marketing is “invasive“, but how many of us know how advertising companies influence the content of the entertainment on television? In this session, Leon will expose the subliminal design of TV programming that divides society and bends public opinion, and explore “inviting” alternatives that can bring us back together.
Leon Stuparich is a London-based independent producer, director and film editor. Over the past 20 years, Leon has worked on some of the biggest shows on TV including The X Factor, Big Brother, Strictly Come Dancing, and a long list of documentaries for the BBC and Channel 4. He also produced and directed the full-length documentary Road to Peace, which follows the Dalai Lama journey through the UK, as he shares his ancient wisdom and speaks his legacy for future generations. Dedicated to promoting holistic and spiritual media projects, he founded the London workspace hub “The Garden of Holistic Creatives”.
Directness vs. Distraction
Marketers often use ‘distractive‘ techniques focussed upon entertainment, gimmicks and brand identity that encourage overspending and the adoption of destructive lifestyle habits. In this session, Chris will explore how to use Directness to get back to plain, honest speaking, hype-free communication that informs and empowers the public, and encourages responsible consumerism.
Chris Arnold is an award-winning creative and innovator, and one of the UK’s leading experts in ethical marketing, as evidenced in his book Ethical Marketing & the New Consumer (Wiley). A former Creative Director of Saatchi & Saatchi, Chris is a Creative Partner and co-founder of the new generation advertising agency Creative Orchestra. He’s worked at dozens of top agencies on hundreds of top brands. He has appeared on many shows on the BBC and Channel 4, and lectures around the world on creativity, advertising and ethical marketing.
Transparency vs. Deception
Deception in business occurs not only when we are dishonest with the public, but also with ourselves. In this experiential and interactive presentation, Randall will explore ways we can cultivate Transparency in our consciousness, free ourselves from both inner and outer deceptions, and create a more positive impact within our businesses and the world at large.
Randall Libero is a pioneering media producer, marketing consultant, TV and radio show host, journalist and speaker in the online media industry. His mission is to promote a new era of “Visionary Entertainment,” which refers to our Digital Age and its impact on society, culture, business, and human consciousness. Randall is the host of the “Spirit of Film: Conversations” radio show and Senior Executive Producer for the VoiceAmerica Radio Network. He created the 7th Wave radio channel and has personally produced thousands hours of original radio and TV for bestselling authors, motivational personalities, visionary thinkers and business leaders.
Abundance vs. Scarcity
Scarcity marketing predicates the belief that resources are limited, and that we are incomplete without ‘more and better’. In this session, Shelagh will look at building the Abundance of balance, harmony and sustainability into our business models and explore new ways of measuring business success beyond monetary profit.
UK-based Shelagh Jones is a marketer, public speaker, and owner/CEO of Spiritus, the Spiritual Marketing Directory. For a long time, Shelagh noticed that many business owners weren’t effectively communicating their business’ underlying values, principles and passions to their customers. This meant their customers didn’t ‘get’ what their businesses were all about, ending up in lost sales and disappointment. So she started Spiritus, an online arena in which like-minded people whose values come first in their personal and business lives can connect with each other, forge exceptional relationships and create outstanding ideas, products and services—and marketing that works.
Creating Sustainable Local Economies
Conventional business models are rooted in unsustainable thinking, such as beliefs in unlimited resources and perpetual economic growth, and little regard for the real costs of their environmental impact. In this session, Nick will introduce the concept of a ‘Transition Enterprise’, and explore how we can create new, sustainable business models-from scratch.
Over the last 18 years, Nick Osborne has worked in management, leadership, training, consultancy and activist roles with organisations including Changemakers, Shell, Amnesty International, the Ecovillage Network and Transition Network. Nick has a BSc in Social Philosophy and MSc in Management Development and Social Responsibility. He works freelance delivering Transition Training and a course in Effective Groups to communities and organisations, as well as in schools and colleges. He loves to facilitate learning and support transformation in the transition to a more sustainable future. Nick lives in Glastonbury, Somerset and is passionate about his family, social change and surfing.
