What are ‘The 7 Graces’?

Taken from the book The 7 Graces of Marketing: how to heal humanity and the planet by changing the way we sell by author Lynn Serafinn, The 7 Graces are a set of values and principles intended to provide a guideline or model for our business and marketing, and indeed our lives in general. In this paradigm, each ‘Grace’ is set against its corresponding ‘Deadly Sin’:

  1. Connection vs. Disconnection
  2. Inspiration vs. Persuasion
  3. Invitation vs. Invasion
  4. Directness vs. Distraction
  5. Transparency vs. Deception
  6. Abundance vs. Scarcity
  7. Collaboration vs. Competition

  • To level the playing field between businesses and consumers. For that reason, when our featured guest speakers are not ‘in the spotlight’ they will be actively participating in the group activities. Thus no one, not even the hosts of the event, will be playing ‘the celebrity card’, and sales pitches from the podium are absolutely not permitted.
